[Pro] MALS - Not possible to load your new configuration

I have just loaded my site with Mal’s shopping cart & linklok integrated, however when I attempt to select an item from my shop I get the following message:

FREEWAY CONFIG

The shopping cart will automatically attempt to load a new configuration file when you change your settings in Freeway.

Sorry, it was not possible to load your new configuration: It was not possible to connect to your webserver at:

http:// www.mydomain dot com
Please login to Admin and correct the URL in Your details

As far as I can see, everything I have checked is correctboth in FW & Mals Admin. It was working on my test URL, but now it has gone live it is playing up???

Could the problem be with the fact I have password protected the root directory for my site?

Or is there something more obvious?

Could the problem be with the fact I have password protected the root directory for my site?

Is the folder where the Mals config file is located PW protected? If so then temporarily remove PWP on that folder while you update.

But that config file should be within the folder you designated as your ‘shop’ folder so if PW protected your customers cant get in.
