What i think she wants is people to be able to go on her site, and click add to cart and then buy it. I think she wants them to have the ability to log in so she can check their order status and where its been shipped. However, I am not sure if this is really needed. If you look at the site, she already has the cart setup( even though it isnt finished) and the my account section. She wants something similiar to amazon.com where people can log in.

It’s a free script I used (downloaded from :: Free PHP Scripts ), and inserted the necessary markup in Freeway. I’ll try and see if I can digg up the (original) files used …

The easy part is the Log in (Password Protection) - that can be achieved with most hosting cPanels.
The reason I asked about the ordering system is that depending on how that works will depend how you access the order information - if at all?
I wasn’t sure if the link you provided was to the site that you want to implement this on or just an example of something similar?
If it is the site in question - a WordPress site - then I am sure that there will be a Plug-in for this functionality.
As usual if you can provide as much information as possible then we can come back with a more focused answer.

We’ll im not sure if she wants to be used on wordpress,thats the thing. I’ve never setup a area where people would be able to login before. All i know is that she wants a functioning site with a store. I personally don’t think she needs the " my account" sections since there is no blogging or any thing of that matter. She will be shipping her items via USPS, so im thinking of just going with another way to let customers know their items were shipped. I think that is how she wants the “my account” part. I’ll be talking to her monday to know exactly what she is looking for

You need a lot more information before we can give definitive answers.
The site you linked to is a WordPress site. If that is her site then you can forget doing anything in FW for it - not without some very serious coding.
If you are building a new site in FW for her that is a totally different matter and will greatly depend on what ecommerce solution she/you go with. Many have those sorts of features built in ie My Account log in etc.
I personally don’t think she needs the ” my account” sections since there is no blogging or any thing of that matter.
Blogging isn’t the issue here - not even relevant. The Shopping Cart is the key factor.
If she does not have a cart chosen yet then it is critical that you use one that is going to meet her needs - but until they are made absolutely clear (on Monday?) then there is little point speculating.
There are hundreds of Carts out there that work in many different ways.

Yeah, i hear where you are coming from. I’m going to try and convince her to do a site in FW. Is there any carts that would allow her customers to see their orders without having to login and view orders and such? Just basically adding a order number and having it show up?

It wouldn’t be much of a cart if anybody could see anybody else’s orders without a log in of some sort.
Spend some time looking at different carts - once you know exactly what she wants/needs - and see if you can find one that best matches her requirements.
Once you are at that stage then we can see about how easy/difficult it would be to integrate into FW. That is if she doesn’t want to stick with her WordPress site.

This sucks, it seems my backup drive is corrupted; however spotlight does find the traces to the files, the files themselves can’t be found, because they’re not on the expected location (anymore) …

The only way she could have gotten her domain through Wordpress is if she is using the wordpress.com (hosted blog/CMS system) rather than a local install of Wordpress on her server (far more common, since it’s free with your hosting + domain, not pay per month to Wordpress). This is a critical thing to figure out, since moving her off of Wordpress.com will be a larger issue than just building a site in Freeway. If she’s moving from [wordpress hosted on a cheap server] to [static HTML site designed in Freeway hosted on a cheap server], then that’s not much of a move at all. Don’t have to worry about migration of mail or other nasty bits like that.

Yeah, that’s what i need to figure out. I have a feeling that she just bought it through wordpress and didnt install it on a server, like godaddy or bluehost. If she did get domain through wordpress. Could i just reroute the site to another server,like godaddy or bluehost or would i have to use the wordpress site she has. Im asking because I want to keep the url and not have her buy another one.

So after all that, we know that this site is registered AND hosted at GoDaddy. So you have a couple of choices now. You can set up a normal (not Wordpress) site under the same account, and host it on GoDaddy. Or, you can move the domain and all the mail, etc. to another server (recommended, but not easy). Okay, there’s a third option – continue paying whatever to GoDaddy that they would charge you just to register the domain, set up a hosting account somewhere else entirely and use GoDaddy’s (awful) DNS control panel to point all Web traffic to that new server.
