I’m having to update an old site done a while back. The issue I face is relinking to just two ‘missing’ resources - ‘sitemap.xml’ and ‘urlist.txt’. All my other resources are linked just fine, but for some reason FW7 will not see those two files. Below is a screenshot to show my problem exactly:
The files are available on my Mac but greyed out when I try to select them via Freeway’s Edit Resources dialogue. Any ideas? Am I safe to publish without these resources?
I used LiveDrive cloud storage to keep a backup of the site in the past but keep the files directly on my Mac now. Not sure if that’s relevant. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Action-created files are sourced from a folder named for your project, but beginning with an underscore (_ProjectName). This folder is generated at the same level as your Freeway project file itself. Try locating and deleting that file on your Mac, then publish again (which should re-create these files, since the Action won’t be able to find them). It may help to hold down the Control key, which exposes the hidden feature “Publish Everything”. Finally, if that does not do the trick, locate your Site folder in the Finder, and select and delete everything inside it. Then publish again.
