Mixing Transition Fx and Carousel

AT the moment Im using an appear Fx to show a gallery load in but the idea is to use a Carousel to show of the gallery images

can you both at the same time ??

They are compatible from a library standpoint. Try it and see if you hit any bumps. Post a link if you do and I’ll see if I can steer you around them.

AS you can see the orange rectangle should work thats the changing image just doesnt seem to want to work

I don’t see any hint of Carousel on this page. Can you publish another page (duplicate this one) and the only change I want you to make is to remove the TransitionFX Action from wherever you’ve applied it. Send another link when you’ve done that. I want to be able to “diff” the two html files and see what’s going on, so don’t change anything besides removing that one Action.

It looks as though you have only got part of the Carousel set up on this page. I recommend you download the example document and see how it’s constructed. There are thee separate Actions that you need (at the very least):

  • Carousel (applied to the one element that you want to define your scrolling area)
  • Carousel Pane (applied to each of the other elements that you want to glide in and out of the Carousel area)
  • Carousel Button (applied to each control that you wish to use to animate the Carousel through its options)

From the looks of things, you seem to have one of these, maybe the Carousel Button, applied somewhere, but I can’t be sure. You definitely don’t have all of them applied, or if you do, the elements are set not to publish or something like that.
