[Pro] More problems with send form action

So, i built this order form with pro using a table to put all the fields in, all looks great. I’ve appled the ‘send form’ action to the page.

The site is hosted by Go Daddy, so I click that option and most of the other options grey out so can’t be used. I do what I can and upload. Suprise, suprise when you click on the submit button it doesn’t work i get and error ‘404’ page up in my browser.

So I go back, un check the Go Daddy box, but non of the drop down options that are available in the tutorial video are available to me - Use item receipient, use item for sender, use item for sender address, all only give one option ‘none’ , great I think just what I need.

So I type in a receipient address, re-upload, refresh my page and re-submit. This time it seems to work and displays my success page, but nothing arrives in my receipient email box or my senders email box.

Any ideas why this is not working, is it a Go Daddy issue ?
Or just another bit of Freeway that doesn’t seem to do what the tutorials claim.

Should I not have created the form in a table, even though the knowledgebase says this is the best way to do it. In the tutorial she has created it juast with html text fields ?

Getting really frustrated with it, please help if you can,

Neil

is it a Go Daddy issue ?

Yes - move to a decent hosting provider.

The problem is that GoDaddy moves the goalposts.

Have you checked whether the gdform.php file has been installed in your site? Have you seen it?

I tought as much, really don’t like Go Daddy either but the cleint already had it hosting the site when i tookit on and i left it.

Guess I will check for that file and suggest moving the whole thing away from Go Daddy, lovely, cheers David
