I have several large QT movies that simply take too long to load. I’ve read that converting them to .mp4 will reduce their size (which it does), but now I get the QT icon with a “?” when my browser tries to load it.
I applied the QT Reference Movie action (in addition to the Target Show/Hide action I’ve been using) which “mostly” resolved my problem. The movie loads instantly but adds an annoying “Click to Play” when I want autoplay (I don’t care about iPhone use just yet).
Is there a setting I’m missing? Is there a workaround? Is there a better way?
