I have made a website (www.edm-tunes.com) and I have put on the “media” page 9 mp3 players for some songs. When I go on my Mac to the media page, it’s all good, but when my friend goes to the media page, suddenly all the mp3 players start at the same time (automatically without any click). He has a Microsoft computer and I have a Mac, does that have something do to with it?
In the dialogue box that opens select the EMBED Tab and create the new Name/Value pair of autostart/false and for good measure do autoplay/false too. Different browsers like different settings.
Try that and report back - it has been known that some browsers like autostart/0
You would use autostart/true if you wanted it to work the other way.
If you still have problems let us know which Browser/OS your friend is using.
I went to Main Menu > Extended and I put for every MP3 container Name/value : autoplay/false , autostart/false and autostart/0. He says the site still lets play all the mp3 files automatically. He is using Google Chrome as a browser.
