I’ve had a request from a client and wondering if this is possible in Freeway.
Is it possible to have visitors to the website put in their location details and have this plotted on a map (A google map). Crucially, the idea is that each location detail is remembered as each subsequent location is added. Over time it builds up a location based map on the site of all the people who have posted their position.
This is kind of like the location feature you see on your iphone to show you where all your photos were taken around the world.
This is possible, in the sense that I could build it using a database and a programming language like PHP or Ruby. There’s nothing built into Freeway that could make it possible or easy for you do do yourself.

I’ve used several times a plug in for Expression Engine that does just this. I heard there is another plug in even more more powerful. EE can be used with FW.
