[Pro] Mystery Pixels

I’ve used Backdraft to layout this site and I have a strange issue I can’t pin down. My header (DHC-Banner-Wrapper) has an extra few pixels that shouldn’t be there. I want it to be flush with the (Byline-Wrapper) below.

Here you can see the mystery blank pixels and here is the same page with the banner wrapper given a blue background to make it obvious what I want to go away.

I think it has something to do with how I’ve utilized the Backdraft template. I used the “oneWrapper” to implement this. But when I deleted the text from the Backdraft template wrapper, I seem to have something extraneous.

Thanks for the troubleshooting help!

BannerWrapper has a height of 272px but the DHCwebheader image is 267.

Cant see exactly why.

BTW did you get the File Link I emailed?

It aligns perfectly in the FW file. And, the height in the FW document says the wrapper is 267. That’s what puzzles me. The container does have a “flexible” height. I wonder if I should change that? It would probably mess with the responsive stuff though…

Yes. I did get the file. I opened it, but haven’t yet looked into the guts of it. Thank you so much David!!!

On this page I have set the Maximum Height for the DHC-Banner-Wrapper to be 267px. That fixes it on a full size screen. But, the extra 5 pixels show up again on the smaller screens.

What could be causing this??? I’ve deleted and started over so many times my eyes are blurring.

Can’t help myself but this sounds a bit buggy to me.

Try to set the alignment of the image to “top” and see what happens.

Cheers

Is DHCResponsiveHeader image set as a BG image?

It is not set as a background image. But that is an interesting idea. I imported it as a passthru image.

Thomas, I’m using the latest version of backdraft. I will experiment with the “top” setting and see if I glean any new info.

Success!!!

David, setting as background image did indeed cause the mystery pixels to disappear. But, user error, somehow I broke the responsive features in the process.

Thomas, switching from “align:baseline” to “align:top” did the trick!

Thank you both so much! Much appreciation…
