I’m designing a logo for one of my neighbors. The company name is three letters. Let’s say ABC. My recommendation to him was that we add either a descriptor or tagline to his company name to help define what the company does.
Here’s my problem. I don’t know how to describe his business. In simplest terms he flips houses, usually buying distressed or foreclosed properties, fixing them up, then reselling them. In some cases he works directly with distressed homeowners. Clearly, there are a lot of negatives surround foreclosures and distressed properties, which is part of the naming problem.
So what creative word or words would best describe this kind of activity? One of my other neighbors, who is also a business owner, advised him to use something like ABC Acquisitions, but that’s way to generic and boring for my tastes.
