[Pro] Newbie "publish" issues

Patience please…I’m brand new to this and trying to save the work I’ve done to show a client (who uses a PC). So, I “publish”…then where’s my file? Shouldn’t I be seeing an HTML file somewhere that I can e-mail for the client to view in a browser window??

When you set up your document you will have been asked to choose a Site Folder where all your HTML files are published.

If you go to File>Document Setup then under the first Tab ‘Document’ about 1/2 way down you will see a Select button. If you click on that you will be shown in the Finder where that Site Folder is on your HD.

You can also use that button to choose a new Site Folder.

If you want your client to see your work then you will need to email them the entire Site Folder because it also contains all the images used in your site. (Zip it first)

Ah, ha! Thank you. I had started using a FWP template and then veered away
into my own design and renamed it accordingly. It was all hiding back in
that original template file. Many thanks and a huge sigh of relief!
Cheers,
Carol
