Having been since quite some time (years…) sitewise not Freeway Pro active anymore, I lately got an info. from someone who wanted to contact me through the website-contact form (PHP feedback form), that this does not work anymore : ( No idea, since how long, because we are rarely contacted over the website. Form did work before and I did not change anything.
Tested it myself and the message

was displayed, similar on / for all three websites (built 2009. Installed I do have actually now Freeway Pro 7).
Any idea how to cure this?
Googeling said, that this is a common error with other website-builders as well and the function eregi () should be changed to preg_match () ??? Somehow connected to php-Versions?

Sure. The problem is that your host upgraded PHP above version 5.3, and the PHP Feedback Form Action won’t work with that. Use the Send Form Action, built into Freeway 7. It’s much more modern. You should be able to remove the PFFA from the page, and then apply Send Form to the page. Check the settings in the Action interface (they are different than PFFA) and that should be that.

I suspected the php-Version and checked that already in September with the provider: I can choose between 7.3 or 7.3. Latest was 5.6 which will be removed shortly. So definitely php > 7
I applied (hopefully) the new action Send Form, but can’t see any changes in the “Work on actions”-window …
Also see no possibility to remove anything. Dates still show changing-dates from 2004 on till 2016…
Preview says:
Validate tag (for elements) has no properties" and then, trying to generate the page “JavaScript error” (-26114:379:2774) and
Action can not be used: feedback form-action “php feedback form” is wrongly assigned and is ignored …
I give it up for … It just makes me angry!
If you do not work I suppose weekly with this programm, you are just completely lost…

Update your subscriptions at:
PHP feedback form is a page action, so click on a blank part of your page, so nothing on the page is selected, and then look in your Actions Palette. You should see a tab for each page action applied to the page. You can remove the action from the page by clicking the (x) in the tab for that action in the palette.
