[Pro] "NULL" appearing on Lightbox images

I have a client who has mentioned that the word “NULL” appears in the bottom right corner of images opened in Lightbox on his website: www.aoarchitects.co.za

We don’t see this on any of our machines (Macbook Pro’s using Firefox) The client is on Windows 7 using the most recent version of internet explorer.

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction in order to rectify this.

Thanks
Matt Covarr

Sorry Matt - that link doesn’t work for me but www.aoarchitect.co.za does.

I see ‘null’ appearing in the bottom left!

I suspect that it is because there is no caption to display.

Thanks Dave, apologies, you’re correct. the link is www.aoarchitect.co.za

Surely one does not have to have a caption within Lightbox?

No - but IE may well be flaky and giving what is essentially an error when it cant find one.

The script that you are using is from 2006 - what version of IE does that equate to?

The age of the script may well have something to do with it. I had simply applied the Lightbox action to picture box within the gallery. I’ll download the latest version of the action and see if this helps. I’m reluctact to have to caption every image in the gallery.

That particular script has evolved and now uses jQuery - probably not the best choice if you are mixing with FW native Script/Protaculous based actions.

Why not use ScriptyLightbox instead.

Matt I know I am new user so sorry to but in but I just wanted to say I really like the proportions and clean layout of that site. If templates came like that I would gladly use them. Clearing off now - sorry to bother you all.

Thanks Dave, landed up dropping a © caption on each image, but have resorted to using the gallery action in conjunction with Showcase from now on, which seems to work very well. Thanks as always for your advice.

@Harsner, thanks for the compliment!
