I built a carousel with the old action, several panes, different lengths.
Put Carousel tabs on the various panes, that would drive the carousel back to the first pane, it all worked pretty good.
The new Carousel action would not allow tabs on the panes, the new carousel had to have every panel the same length as the main panel…and when I would put tabs on the panes the panes would disappear.
Am I missing something here? I want to go back to the other action. Is it possible to remove the new action and go back to the old one?
The new Action is not a drop-in replacement for the original. You need
to make your page over again, and follow the directions to the letter.
It’s a different method completely, but the return on your investment
is a much more flexible working environment in Freeway (no need to
stack anything any more). By the way, the Action (both original and
new) requires that all panes be exactly the same dimensions. I’m not
sure how you were able to make multiple sizes work before, but you
shouldn’t have been able to.
