I think with some creative use of the transition fx action and show/hide layer action you could make this work Hiding the credit card image behind a layer as it moves.
I just played around with it for a minute… Im just not sure how to get the card back after it moves??? smile maybe some other trigger to reload the page.
Seems like there are lots of ways of doing the same thing in Freeway. Some are just a lot cleaner than others.
You should try using the Transition FX Actions, or Protaculous and the
Morph effect in Scriptaculous. With a combination of transparent PNG
images, you could even get the irregular mask effect that’s seen when
you mouse over the card on the right.

Just remember, if you’re doing this to support the iPad, that there is
no mouseover event possible on touchscreen devices, so that event is
triggered by a single tap in MobileSafari. You tap once on an element
that has a mouseover handler applied to it, and whatever is supposed
to happen on mouseover is fired by that tap.
One problem with this is that you then cannot have a click handler on
the same element, because its click event is being hijacked by the
mouseover handler. Further, this keeps you from having any sort of
mouseout handler to restore the effect to its original state. Once you
click, the animation will “stick” at whatever the mouseover handler
tells it to do.
