[Pro] opening express 6 file in pro 7

Happy to see that my existing files from Express 6.1.2 open as expected in Pro 7, with one unexplained quirk: a CSS drop down menu is partially hidden (three of six items, or half the width, are missing). The enclosing box hasn’t moved. This is in Page view; when I open in Preview – or in Browser view – all is well and the menu appears as it always has.

Any experts have an enlightening insight?
