[Pro] Optimising across devices

Hi Guys,

Whats the best way to optimise across devices in Freeway Pro? And then impliment this on landing page - such as buttons for mobile, tablets etc? I know there is a mobile option in Freeway document set up but does this mean I need a different copy of the site for each device?

Any pointers would be a help guys?

Assumed you use Freeway version 7+ you won’t need different copies of your page layout.

You’d work on one set with several tabs representing the “breakpoints”. I wrapped a very basic example workflow here:

Maybe this clarifies some your questions, however I’m not aware what

And then impliment this on landing page

will mean.

Important to note that there really hasn’t been a “landing” page for any Web site since Google took hold. Search engines parachute your visitors into individual pages, the only landing happens when someone types in your URL. Considering a large percentage of (otherwise really smart) people believe that the way you get to a Web page is to type the actual URL into the Google search box, it’s not going to be a big part of your site traffic unless your landing page is your only page…

Thank you for your reply guys.

I do get the sense that with Freeway Pro (7.1.1) automating so much of the processes usually taken by coders that somethng like optimisation might be a little more automated. but I’m no expert - I just play around tbh. Hence my landing page question Walter.

I’m gonna try the method in your video Thomas - I’ll feedback my success, or lack of, in due course.

Thanks again guys.
