Something just occurred to me - have you enabled AppleScript in Actions in FW’s Preferences - not sure if that would affect that particular action but it certainly does others.
Yes, applescript is enabled, and I guess has been…seems to be the default setting.
You’re not running Snow Leopard are you? Your signature says so.
The reason I ask, Snow is PowerPC friendly. When I tried to install the Link to Page action (downloaded from forge) by double clicking it I got the “PowerPC applications are not supported” error message. I strongly suspect there is a Lion OS issue causing all of my problems.

Yes but the action is actually only a text file. When you click on the Link to Page.fwaction and Get Info what do you see?
If you see a different app (a powerpc app) as the ‘Open With’ option that would explain the error when trying to install it but this becomes irrelevant if the file is in your Actions folder user>Library>Application Support>Freeway 5>Actions
Once it is in there it is merely ‘read’ by FW itself as a text file.
Do you still have FW 3.5 on your computer - if so the action may be defaulting to be opened by it.
You can also try dragging the Action onto the Freeway icon.
