[Pro] "Padding" not showing up in Inspector

I’m using Pro 5.5, and “Padding” is not showing up in the HTML Item Inspector. The manual shows it just above “Wrap”, but I’m not getting it. I have an HTM item selected with text typed in it, need to inset that text all around (uneven). Where did “Padding” go? Thanks in advance for your help!

What kind of object have you selected? Padding will only appear when
you have selected an HTML box.

With the item selected open the Dimensions disclosure triangle.

Oh, and it won’t show if you have a text cursor, only if the 8 handles
are showing on the corners and sides. Click on the pasteboard, then
click once on the HTML box.

Thanks, everyone. Still a problem. Selected the HTML object (8 handles showing), do have the disclosure triangle checked to open the dialogue. I do get the dimensions dialogue, but “Padding” is not above “Wrap” as it is in your example.
I’ve tried putting the text in anHTML Item, a Graphic Item, and a table, but with any of those selected, no “Padding” in the dialogue. If I know how to attach an image I’d post what I am seeing. The inspector does have a few differences than the one shown by David in his response. “Layer” checkbox and “Overflow” drop down are missing from mine as well.

What version of Freeway are you using? Is this Freeway Express by any
chance?

When you select this item does it says “Table” at the top of the Inspector?

Sounds to me that your HTML box is the ‘child’ of another container. Check in the Site Panel on the left and, if so, it will be inset to the right under another item. Drag to the left and check Layer in the Inspector. (Or you try could to cut and paste the item).

Ooops - it’s still quite early (for me!) this side of the pond - should have said “Or you could try cutting and pasting the Item”.

I’m at a loss. I am using Freeway Pro 5.5, as I mentioned in the first post. I have tried creating countless new HTML items, not just trying the one. The inspector says “HTML Item” at the top just above the menu icons. Checked the site panel, it is not a child of another item. I’m selecting it with the 8 handles showing, not with the text cursor showing…yikes.

All you need to do is get your screenshot onto a FW page, upload and post the link here.

Preferably your screenshot should should the item you have selected and the inspector palette.
