My postcards have been priced up to include all delivery charges, so I entered zero in the “Shipping” box. For some reason people were charged for delivery at either £1.50 or £2.00 depending on which button they selected. I have refunded their overpayment through PayPal.
To work around this I have now priced all items at 1p less and added the 1p in the Shipping box. This now works but is not really satisfactory.
Am I missing something, or doing something wrong?
Finally, is there a way of making the action open PayPal in a new window rather than losing the page on my website?
Hi David,
Log into your PayPal account and go to My Account > Profile > Postage Calculations and set the default values for the postage to zero (or simply empty the boxes).

Not really at the moment. You can work around the issue but it’s a dirty trick…
Make sure nothing on the page is selected and click on the 3rd tab in the inspector palette
In the Target drop down select _blank to open all links in a new window
Go through the rest of your links on the page and set the target for each one to _self
This will open all PayPal links in a new window while keeping your regular links in the same window. Not nice but it’ll work.
Regards,
Tim.
Thanks Tim, both answers worked perfectly. I presume, from what you say in your answer, that the Action is still being improved. Any idea when a new version will be released?
Hi David,
No time scales at present although the fix should be relatively easy to add. I’ll add your suggestion to the database.
Regards,
Tim.
