[Pro] pdfs do not upload to site

I have taken over this site and created a new, simple site with hyperlinks to pdf documents. The site appears OK but the links do not work. I worked flawlessly for a few minutes and reverted to -

HTTP Error 404.0 - Not Found

Most likely causes:
The directory or file specified does not exist on the Web server.
The URL contains a typographical error.
A custom filter or module, such as URLScan, restricts access to the file.

Things you can try:
Create the content on the Web server.
Review the browser URL.
Create a tracing rule to track failed requests for this HTTP status code and see which module is calling SetStatus. For more information about creating a tracing rule for failed requests, click here.

Hi John,
Your web site is looking for the PDFs in a directory called DDCC.
For example the newsletters page the link for the January 12 newsletter is;
http://www.damheadcc.org.uk/DDCC/Newsletterjan12.pdf http://www.damheadcc.org.uk/DDCC/Newsletterjan12.pdf

The PDF is actually at;
http://www.damheadcc.org.uk/Newsletterjan12.pdf http://www.damheadcc.org.uk/Newsletterjan12.pdf

Select each of the links on the newsletters page and change the URLs to just the name of the PDF;
Newsletterjan12.pdf

This should fix the broken links for you.
Regards,
Tim.
