[Pro] PHP Feedback Form and Go Daddy

hey all

ok here is a funny one… I am using PHP Feedback form and web host is Godaddy
I followed Tim’s instructions and form did not work. Then I went to Form setup and put in POST and webformmailer.php
with Go daddy techs and uploaded
tested and the source code would not change. Instead it stayed at contact-go.php

so with the guidance of the tech, I went into my source code on server and changed to webformmailer.php right in code
saved changes uploaded
and it would not take… FW is forcinging it to stay as contact-go.php no mater how many times I try

then I went to Form setup and put in POST and webformmailer.php

If you are still using the PHPFF action then it will set the Post to contact-go.php

Remove the action and try again but you will need to set up the redirect pages in the Hidden section of Page>Form Setup as manually using Form setup will do away with all the stuff the action does behind the scenes.

hi David
ah ha

don’t seem to know how to do this.
You mean remove the PHP forma action alltogether?
and then put in info on Form Setup on hidden fields section
I do not know how

went to Form set up and manually put in
/webformmailer.php

if you could be so kind to direct me
I do know go daddy uses this

If you are going to post to GD’s webformmailer.php then there is not any point in using the action and you will need to add in the redirect in the hidden fields section - not sure if you can even have an error page. I assume that you have already set up the recipient of the email in your control panel http://help.godaddy.com/article/508

In Page>Form Setup under the Hidden tab create a new name/value pair of

name: redirect

value: yoursuccesspage.html

I am not familiar with GD’s setup though.
