[Pro] PLEASE HELP, someone that knows code!!! Jeremy? Delta? Walter?

I have been on the chat and phone with Adobe support and they basically REFUSE to help with this situation because I am not using either Dreamweaver or Muse!

Need to get the HTML and JS to be edited and placed in the correct manner so that this will work within a webpage properly. On the URL as the example, I have the code pasted exactly as I got it into the and of the webpage and as you can see, there is nothing happening within the while blank space.

But if you go to http://lightning-mobile.com/LM-Front-Page-Banner-Draft01.html you can see this work in some web browsers. I do believe that this would work correctly in all web browsers if that code was edited properly.

This is beyond anything that I can figure out on my own. Could someone please help me with this? I am sure that the answer will be helpful for everyone that is/or will be working with Adobe Animate.

My client is not happy at the moment because I can not put this within a Freeway Pro webpage!

Thanks for any and all help!

Robert

Try putting this in an iframe, that should work with the rest of your layout. And what browser is causing you issues? I have tested with all that I have, and don’t see any functional difference between them.

Hello Walter and thanks so much for answering!!!

I do not see the http://lightning-mobile.com/LM-Front-Page-Banner-Draft01.html working at all in Firefox and only partly in Safari (most of the images are not appearing)

Could you please show me how to put this correctly into an iframe? I’m basically just a visual learner, so I need to see this and then I can copy for now and in the future. I’ve been on hold with Adobe support for over an hour now. It is amazing to me that this info is not included with their instructions!

Also I have put the working animation on a shorter URL: http://lightning-mobile.com/try1.html and again I do not see this working via Firefox, just a blank page. But Safari is now playing it all correctly for me on the URL listing in this post.

If you have the URL of the animation, just put it in the iframe Action. That’s all there is to it.

LOL!!! That was too easy! I have never used the “iframe” Action before, but that seems to have done the trick!

But is there a way to plug the code that Adobe Animates puts out to the and so that the Action is not needed?

Thanks ever so much Walter!

Now is there a way to edit the code that Animate exports out so that I do not have to use the iFrame action? Say like I want to add a series of buttons and maybe another animation to the same webpage.

With Adobe Edge Animate I was able to do this by editing the code some and making a different “stage” for each Animate project and then just use within Freeway the Page>HTML Markup menu to make this happen. (Which is far easier than to be using the iFrame Action for each Animate project.)

Can someone please show me what is needed to do edit wise with the existing HTML and JS codes that Adobe Animates exports now?

Thanks millions for the help and patience!

Robert
