Hi, I need assistance on how to make a rollover from an image map.
Here is the situation; I have a background image that I would like to create hotspots for by using the image map tool, so that if I rollover the hotspot and an image will appear in another location on that page. The rollover would be an area not an image but I can use an image for the pop-up upon rollover. There are 6 areas that I want to create a pop-up that would explain more detail for the rollover area.
I have tried everything but cannot get that to work using 5.5 Pro.
Please provide step by step info or any better approach to achieving what I am trying to do.
I don’t think it’s possible to do what you want, but you can draw another image box – leave it empty – and assign the link to that box. Make sure you draw this as a layered object, or check the Layer checkbox in the Inspector, and make sure it is not set to combine with the objects below it. It’s easiest to draw it somewhere on the pasteboard and then drag it over the top of the first image to define the area.
