[Pro] Plug in missing? make mp4 video HTML5 function

Apart from just finding out that Freeway is now defunct and still reeling , the answer to my ‘Make mp4 video HTML5 - Plug in missing’ link is not responding, I guess because of the Softpress demise.
THE PROBLEM. I have a video mp4 as a Scriptylightbox3 pop up action and I am getting the ‘Plug in missing’. It would seem the best advice is to make it an HTML5 function, however, I cannot find a way to do this with the pop-up video. Help please. iMAC 27" Yosemite.

Plays fine here. What browser application (and version) are you trying to use to view the video?

I am using Safari 10.0.1 - it was fine until the last Safari upgrade I made. Its not that I cannot get it to function on my machine, its that others will be experiencing the same problem. The general view is that the viewing function should be HTML5. This is a Safari problem, as it works fine on Firefox.

The video player in ScriptyLightbox3 is a QuickTime player, not HTML5 Video. If you don’t have Freeway 6 (which introduced Video support) then you can use my VideoJS Action to do that. You will need to build the pop-up yourself, probably with the Target Show/Hide Layer Action that’s been built into Freeway since the year dot.

OK Walter, its not the answer I was hoping for, but it is the one that I expected - a rebuild. I will download your Action and follow your advice. I will get back to this thread if I have issues. Thanks again.

Walter, I am having a bit of trouble finding the VideoJS action after installing it. I downloaded the version:
VideoJS.fwaction (2013-11-17)
(Downloaded 141 times)
Contains:
VideoJS (item-action) - v. 0.3.1
Compatible: Pro 4, Pro 5, Pro 5.5, and Pro 6
I dropped it onto the Freeway Application icon and it said it installed, but when I look in MENU-INSERT-ACTION ITEM to apply it to the graphic jpg poster frame image, its not there.
I am using Freeway version 7.1.1

You need to look in Item / Actions. Insert is when you want to enter a stand-alone Action-item, not apply an Action to an existing object.

I have used a YouTube link to overcome problem initially. However, I have now tested the VideoJS Action and all works fine and will convert my site to suit in the near future. Thanks for your help.
