[Pro] Pop up box

Hi - I need to have a pop up box that not only has an image but divs with text, links and buttons - would love the whole ScriptyLightbox effect too where the background darkens, smoothly pops up and works in IE etc

Is there an action for this ? Or something that will work

ScriptyLightbox, ScriptyLightbox 2 and ScriptyLightbox 3 all work with HTML content as well as graphic content. Just point the URL to a page rather than a file.

In SL2 and SL3, there is a picker to choose Page/URL vs File as the target. In SL, you use the normal Hyperlink dialog to link your thumbnail to a page or URL.

Of course yes thanks Walter…

Its for a Store - a page lists all the products - you select one - creating a pop up window.

So if I create a new page - say 300px by 300x pics - add close up of product image, add links/buttons to by now, description text etc - we good?

I dont want Google to index the little pop pages though? Meta no follow?

Jess thinking about it I would want google to no about the details…!

Sure, add rel=nofollow using the Extended sub-dialog in the Hyperlink dialog.

Walter - How do I add a no follow to the inline scriptylightbox action? I dont want Google to index the actual pop up boxes that are linked to the SL action?

I tried highlighting the inline action but unless I add a URL I cant use the extended box

Cheers

It depends on which Action you are using. ScriptyLightbox doesn’t create the link for you, so you would add it by opening the Hyperlink dialog and adding it in the Extended sub-dialog interface. ScriptyLightbox 2 and 3 do create the link for you, and so I would have to go into those Actions and add a checkbox or something. I can’t work on that today.
