[Pro] [Pro] Browsers download and HTML file instead of displaying it.

I created a rollover button and an external link to it. I set the url to “./gallery/brochures.html” and extended it with an on-click action. When I publish it to my “sites” folder, the browser treats the rollover link like a download and safari proceeds to download a simple html instead of displaying it like any other page. I checked out the HTML output and it looks like a regular link “href=”./gallery/brochures.html". I don’t know whats wrong. Could anyone help? Thanks in advance. =D

Can you post a link to the problem page?

Yeah sure. Only the first image on the right is linked up, just for these purposes. When I publish to the “sites” folder and look at my site on “localhost” it works fine, and brochure.html displays in the browser like a normal page. However, when I upload to my godaddy server, it doesnt display. Please help! This is for a client, and I’m JUST moving to Freeway. - http://www.jitcommunications.com/portfolio.html

Well, I fixed the issue. there was an .htaccess file in the folder where the html file was located. it must have had an affect on the file for it not to display.

Glad you got that one sorted - was it a GoDaddy peculiarity that was screwing it up or something someone else added?

On another topic I have to mention that when I visited your site I found the text on the navigation tabs totally indecipherable.
