[Pro] [Pro] Centering an item in a 'None' Alignment page

For the life of me, I can’t crack this, and it’s probably a relatively simple solution - thanks in advance for any help! This is what I want to do: design a page with elements that stretch across the full width of the page (full screen)…I understand that in order to do this I need to set my page alignment to none. So far so good, but then, I also want to be able to center items within the page. I no longer have center alignment on my side to do so, so how can I center a graphic item in a page when my page alignment is set to none? Freeway Pro 6.

If you draw an HTML box the full width of the page in the area where you want your centered element(s) to appear, set it to 100% width, and then double-click inside that box and choose Insert / HTML Item from the main menu, you can create an inline HTML element to act as the centered “stage” for the centered elements of your page. Make that inline box the width that you need your page to appear, and in the Margin picker, select Center (Auto). That will get you the look of a centered page in a flexible (100%) outer page. Any elements you draw over that centered element (or otherwise nest within it) will move to the center of the screen, regardless of its size.

Thank you Walter!!! Will adding that many HTML items complicate the code to a point of being unwieldy?

It’s no more complex than the HTML that Freeway writes for you automatically when you draw things in place. One more layer of nesting isn’t going to kill anyone.
