First, no folder in your entire site (or file, for that matter) should include any spaces or punctuation characters besides the underscore _ or dash - or dot . in their name.
With that out of the way, the next thing you need to determine is whether there is an index page in the folder you are trying to navigate to. Look in your Site Folder on your Mac. Make certain there is a file in the top level of that folder that is named exactly index.html
. Now, look into any sub-folder of the Site Folder, and confirm that each of those folders also include the index.html
file.
Finally, on your server, use the awful GoDaddy tools to create a new test site, and see what, if any, folders it places in the account root folder. Usually this is named htdocs
or public_html
– the actual name does not mean anything at all, but it must match whatever your server is configured to expect. My guess here is that you deleted that folder when you cleaned out your server root. /logs and /whateverthesitefolderiscalled would normally be peers of one another within your “home” folder (the folder you see when you log into your server with FTP or SFTP).

O… I confirmed FTP details as you showed.
Wiped out all files accept the “Apache Logs” folder on FTP (because it wouldn’t let me) and uploaded fresh from FW. Getting an error when I try to access the site…
“NOT FOUND. The requested URL /Dooley Media Works/ was not found on this server.”
And under that, in the same window…
“Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache Server at dooleymediaworks.com Port 80”
I feel like I’m chasing my tail!
