I feel stupid, but I must be missing something. I am using Freeway Pro 5.5 and Mal’s E-Commerce Suite 1.5 I am trying to use the Multiprice Select action on a product I have set up. I have applied the Mal’s Buy Form Setup on the parent table. Inside the table I have two menu/list items. First menu/list item has the Multiprice Select action applied with three options and three different prices. Second menu/list item has the Multiprice Select action applied with two options with price and quantity set to zero. I should be getting the product name from the parent Buy Form Setup action, then the selected options from the two menu list. No matter what I do, I only get the value from the last menu/list with price as 0.00. It is like the action suite is only passing one field/item to the cart. I verified I sort of know how this work’s by using the Softpress E-actions. To verify I am not totally stupid, I used the E-Buy Form, E-Product Variation and got what I expected in the Mal cart. I am not sure what is the problem with the E-Commerce suite, but I can not get the form stuff to work. Please help…Tommy
Hi Tommy,
It sounds like you are trying to use two Multiprice Selects on the same product. You can have a form with multiple products and each one can use a single Multiprice Select but you can’t use more than one Multiprice Select list on each product. To achieve what you want you will have to either roll the options defined in the second Multiprice Select list into the first or, if the options in the second list don’t change the overall product price you can simply append the selection to the product description by changing the title of the select list to ‘product1’ (or ‘product2’ for the second product in the form, ‘product3’ for the 3rd etc). For example if the second select list simply defines the item color, and not a price, setting the title to ‘product1’ will append the selected item to the product description when it gets sent to the Mals cart.
For example;
Overcoat, XXL, blue $200.00
The overcoat description and size will be defined by the Multiprice Select list, and the color (blue in this case) will be defined by another select list with then title set to ‘product1’.
If none of this makes any sense please feel free to send me a copy of your Freeway file (or the page you are working on) with an indication of what you are trying to do and I’ll set the form up for you as an example.
Regards,
Tim.
