Freeway goes out of its way to save file size in toto, as in ‘This one image is on every page, therefore I will only make one and link it to every page’. Freeway also follows a very conservative path where if an element on a page is updated beyond the save time of that page, then the page is also considered to be “dirty”, and need re-publishing. Finally, the site-wide stylesheet is just such an element that appears on all pages. So I can easily imagine that you change something about a global style – something that is defined on the global stylesheet – and that causes every page in the site to go dirty.

What is the solution to eliminating this? Do I somehow clean up the pages?
Thanks,

Freeway goes out of its way to ensure that none of your content is ever out of date. If you publish and upload within Freeway, then don’t think about it too hard. Just let it do its thing.
