[Pro] QT reference movie problem

Hi there,

I hope someone can help me out here.

I want to add a movie to an existing site. I want it to be iPhone/iPad friendly so I use the QT reference movie action.

I used this action before for other sites and never had a problem. On this particular site it doesn’t work. When I preview the page with the freeway preview tool it shows a black field.

When I preview in a browser or upload the site to the server and watch it, it gives a missing plug-in message. Whithout the action the movie works fine.

When I quickly create a new site, it also works fine.

Since the site I want to ad the video to is quite big, I don’t want to redo the site. I compared the working and not working site, for settings, actions etc. cant find anything that could cause it. It probably is a stupid little thing that I just don’t see.

Anyone ran into the same problem?

Hi

I’m having a similar problem with the QT reference action, the movies will work on my iPhone 3g, iPad 1/2 and iPod (new) but not on iPhone 4/or 3gs. it just shows the “poster” without “click to play”. The movies work fine without the action though. Am i missing something here?

Also can’t find where I got the action from.
