[Pro] redirect

Hi Guys,

Created temporary redirects on the two websites below until I rebuild them as responsive websites.

http://www.hrcorporatecare.nl works fine (redirect automatically to the mobile website

http://www.hreducare.nl not, first I have to choose the home button, then the redirect follows. So here it is not automatically

Anyone in idea? is it because the index page is Php on the EduCare site? is there a workaround

Thx

Erik

For what I see here, it seems there are multiple index pages active, perhaps and index.php, index.html, etc. It could very well be that hreducare.nl opens the index.html, while the ‘home’ link on that page links to index.php …

By the way, something went terribly wrong on your mobile url … all text is no longer html text, but image. Can’t be right.

Hi Richard,

Little confusing maybe but situation is as following:

Normal index has WebYep cms on it, that’s why main index is index.php.

if visit site via small screen (mobile) there must be an automatic link to a different index.html file.
This file is stored in a seperate folder on the server.

I tried to manage this with the mobile redirect action but thats didn’t work

The automatic redirect follows only when hit the home page?

Confusing, and therefore the wrong way to go.

Who decides what will be shown as the default document –index.php or index.html– when visiting http://www.hreducare.nl? The server answers a server request to show hreducare.nl and returns the php or html page … but which? You need to avoid even that situation by renaming the mobile(-ready) page to something like index-m.html …

And I understand that there are a static version (.html) and a dynamic version (.php/webyep), where the static version is the temporary?

Thank you Ricard for your feedback

I know, I’m not happy with the whole situation.
The wish of my client is a responsive website but they do not want to pay for it.
Therefore, they made their own mobile (static) version thats lives besides a dynamic website (that makes sense, not?)

For now the problem is solved here but this is definitely not an ideal situation.

For now the problem is solved
