[Pro] Resources cannot be found

Hi all,
today I updated ScriptyLightbox and Protacoulos and now when I published I get " Resorce cannot be found… "
prototype1602packer.js
scriptaculous181packer.js

I found a thread and followed the instructions removing the
Actions like HideShow Layer and FX Actions.

Now it only shows: prototype1602packer.js as a missing resource.

Can someone help, please.

Thanks

First, try this. Choose Edit / Resources from the main menu, and click
Resample All in that dialog. When that finishes, hold down the Control
key and choose File / Publish Everything from the main menu (hidden
option). See if that clears the issue.

Thanks for the quick response, but no changes.

Any other idea?

I had a similar thing with glider.js. I went looking for it in the place the error message said it should be and found that Protaculous now holds these files in a subfolder called ‘Support Files~’.

I think this must have changed with one of the upgrades to this Action. Freeway cannot find the support files for the new version of the Action (?).

I just copied the ‘missing’ file from the ‘Support Files~’ subfolder to the place the error message aid it should be.

Now I don’t get the error message anymore, but have I done something which will cause other problems? Advice please, from someone who knows about this stuff.

This is not how it should work. The issue is more likely that your
document has embedded the previous version of the Action, and is using
it in preference to the newer version in your Actions folder. This is
a persistent problem with these “bundled” Actions, which have multiple
files inside a wrapper structure. All of the current versions of the
Actions (and all of the Softpress Actions) look for their component
files in the Support Files~ folder. If your particular /document/ is
looking for them elsewhere, then your document is stuck in limbo
between versions of the Action. The only cure is to remove all
instances of the Action (and in the case of anything based on
Protaculous, that’s a rather long list of Actions bundled into one
“file”). Then publish the document, then add all of the Actions back
into the document.
