[Pro] Responsive sliders/Carousel

Hi

I have been using RPL for a long while and have just upgraded to Freeway 7 and I am excited to get my teeth into some responsive sites.

I am hoping that there is a way of creating sliders that are responsive such as those in the example I have placed above that remains within the simple easy to use actions that Freeway have always offered.

Your example appears to use a jQuery plug in called FlexSlider Flexslider WordPress Slider Toolkit by WooThemes

This FW page uses it. http://www.deltadesign.co/FW6Test/responsive/flexslider.html

At the moment there are no responsive sliders that you wouldn’t have to do some work/coding to add to a Responsive FW site.

A popular one being used by FWers is WoWSlider http://wowslider.com/ and Caleb I think has a Blog post or guide to aid you in setting it up in BackDraft. Shouldn’t be much different in 7.

Although that is for Backdraft, there is nothing Backdraft-specific going on here. Those directions should work perfectly for vanilla FW 7.
