[Pro] Responsive Slideshow with Links

Neat example, Matt - well done.

It’s showing the enormous flexibility of OWL. On plus, we create the content directly in Freeway. So all thinkable stuff (Image, Audio, Video, Forms … and yes - links too :slight_smile: can be wrapped and managed within each single pane.

Thats’s why I love AmazingSlider … I’ve used it here, and oh boy is this responsive: ontwerpzaam.nl

OWL is the nearest WYSIWYG solution I know, so absolutely no need to worry - although other guys have better arguments (apparently).

Cheers

Thomas

I’m not sure why I’m not getting it. New example:

The above example was created on top of a Backdraft template by Caleb. Just to clarify my own thinking, I tried this bet007(中国)官方网站 in a completely new document. Still not working, but I’ll post here in case it is helpful.

Matt, thank you so much for your help!

Open Matt’s example.

Select the item named “owl-example” and watch what he did by opening the item → extended dialogue.

Do the same in your example(s).

Open the page → HTML Markup. Select the after body section and copy this code snippet. Paste it on exactly the same place on your page.

Also enjoying the animate.css effects.

Doty, looks if Thomas has you on the right track

don’t forget your code in should be

 $('#owlwrapper').owlCarousel({

NOT

 $('.owlwrapper').owlCarousel({

As Thomas mentioned I called my div ‘#owl-example’ with a class= owl-carousel

Thomas and Matt thank you!!!

Thomas, I completely miss the extended attribute on the “owl-example” item. And Matt, I don’t think I could have ever realized the missing # !!!

Time to take a break and look at some of Thomas’ videos again! Always learning… Thanks again!

Hi Doty,

well - I still haven’t started the JSMeister series, which is my next big, big goal running with you. Things are extremely tricky - so shame on me. It’s indeed the hardest part - but if a bird wants to be free, it needs starting to fly.

Matt,

animation is cool and I’ll give it a go, too. But you know what? Much cooler would be to animate the parts within the panes (rather than the carousel itself).

Cheers
