I know its been asked before, but i am looking for a simple auto run responsive slideshow… Exhibeo’s only auto slide is not responsive…
will FW7 be able to accommodate this exhibit option? will I have to wait?
I have yet to upgrade as I am waiting for backdraft and FW7 to come together… thx
As simply, as I can say it, your assumptions about Exhibeo and
“responsiveness” are all very wrong.
Exhibeo’s slideshows are flexible… but you have to create a flexible
environment in Freeway Pro to capitalize on that. You can additionally hack
the CSS from Exhibeo to assist with whatever flexing or responding you
need. It also helps if you make your images of consistent size and
resolution.
Is Exhibeo and FWP push-the-button responsive? No. You might ask Caleb to
build the structures you need in Backdraft for you as a module to make it
“just work”. The way I’ve made it work is through learning a bit about
html/css and the way FWP and Exhibeo create these things. The subject is
more of a course than a lesson.

Ive used Exhibeo themes successfully with the responsive environment (Backdraft), so yes I understand… but a simple auto run gallery is not available, so this is my quest… no arrows
thx for reply
It’s not push-button, I admit - but not impossible for anyone willing to
employ flexible inflow layouts and edit a little code.

I have been searching for a solution to have a slideshow that is responsive but also allows my clients to edit the images. In the past the only way I could do something editable was to use Web Yep with sequence timer and Target/Showhide. But I’m struggling with this because of responsiveness. I cannot use Target /Showhide because the items need to be layered. Is there a way to do this with an iframe? Or, do I need to use something like Slideshow Pro?
I use Backdraft with FW Pro which accommodates all of Exhibeo’s themes except Slide, which is the only one that is simple and auto runs. Its fine… I see that it is not doable yet
thank you
No I meant that Slide is the only Exhibeo theme not supported by Backdraft, which led me to the supposition by Caleb and the Softpress support team that it can’t be responsive,
but this was ( in the past)
It seems to me that It could be added with the new BD version, and I will be upgrading to FW7 soon
Im just waiting…
and now I see Ernie has achieved it
