To me, not at all - honestly.
Using “responsive” as synonym for dynamic and “fixed” in one sentence is strange, showing that people are still struggling with the basic purpose of adaptive web-design.
But whatsoever - in todays web-landscape, there are properties like min and max-width that are targeting issues like those.
The action works as expected:
It removes any width attributes and enables us to place it however we want - as long we are aware of what we are doing.
