I agree Richard, AmazingSlider looks to be a great paid option ( I like their carousel and music player too!) - and they even include instruction for FW - though they do say you have to manually do - “Step 3 - Upload slider folders to your web server” - I believe you can set them up in FW to upload as part of your site upload. (with an action)
Other than the very limited Exhibeo option, FW still doesn’t have a lot of alternatives built in. One would think in this day and age a responsive slideshow/slider tool as a default page building item would be high on the list of basic features.
