Some years ago, when I was convinced of 85% of my clients need a CMS (today I know that none of them really did, but that’s another story), I experimented much with WebYep. I came up with in total two possibilities in having a “client side adjustable carousel” solutions.
Both had been crap but somehow doable:
- A RichText Editor with file-management
- Walters’ Carousel.
Both are basically on the idea, having a hand on HTML which enables us to “define” editable content.
As already said crap!!!
Cause a client is simply overwhelmed by this, while for a web designer it’s an affair of 5 minutes to adjust. So why leaving clients with this pain in butt rather understanding that we are part of the service industries.
And for all clients really need a CMS, recommend em:
and if it is a real high-roller, use WordPress or ModX instead.
Both have (pretty sure) PlugIns for this.
Cheers
