I have successfully set up Mal’s e commerce package, however, since adding the Mal’s Buy Image Link to my own add to basket graphics the rollovers have stopped working :o(((
Hi . . . I had a similar problem but from a freewaytalk thread found
firstly to make sure the custom button is a ‘submit item’ (check box
in the inspector) . . . rollovers then didn’t work . . . there is an
action called ‘submit image rollover’ from http:// www.freewayactions.com/product.php?id=023 which solves this.
Hi,
Thanks for you offers of help.
After trying every combination I could think of, I have finally figured it out. The rollovers must not be an image submit, just the standard rollover action. You need to set the rollovers up using the parameters tab and add your image for mouseover and click from there (rather than stacking the images and grouping them and ticking the rollover preferences).
Then make sure the submit in the inspector is not selected, add the Ma’s Buy Button action and YIPPPEEE - it works! :o)
Hope this saves someone else from hours of trying to get their rollovers to work.
Thanks again,
Hi, sorry if this has been asked before but how do you add a summary
of what’s in your shopping cart on a Freeway page?
I have a site with a dozen products using Mals and PayPal. Ideally I
would like the user to be able to add a product without being re-
directed to the cart each time and for the text to show how many
items and what the running total is.
I have seen a thread on this but I can’t fathom it . . . Is this
possible, and if it is how do I go about doing it.
Does anyone know which javascript to purchase for use with Mal’s cart and Freeway Pro 5.5 to get the cart contents and total to display on the page?
I am not sure whether I need the STANDARD Javascript, the FRAMES Javascript or the IFRAME Javascript? Eeek am probably being really stupid but could someone please explain the difference… ;o)
Has anyone got any experience of using this successfully with FW, is it easy to implement? I have contacted the site owner however they are not able to offer me any technical support and are not familiar with Freeway…!
