I have a intricate combination of text rollovers and show/hide target layers on this website:
It is working almost as I want it, but there is one problem. Scroll down to the bottom part of the page where it says tea pots, brew mugs, infusers & more… The rollovers work if you start at warmers and move one at a time down the list. However, if you try to go back up to warmers (from say tea mugs) the warmers will not reappear. This error continues down the list.
I’m sure I’m missing something simple, but I’m not seeing it. I’ve tried re-ordering my groups and reassigning mouseover #s, but I’m not getting anywhere. Any ideas?
All your rollovers have to be in the same group if you expect them to reset one another. If you have more than 20 items that need to interact, you may want to try the Rollover 60 Action, from ActionsForge.

Thanks for the reply, Walter. By group, do you mean layered group, or do you mean group like indigo, cobalt, etc.?
My items are in the same layered group and I have each product under a different “color” (chartreuse, aqua, indigo, cobalt, etc). Everything is working fine except the list on the left.
I mean the color names. Any time you want only one element to remain on the screen, and all others hide, you have to stay within one color-name group. You have 20 numerical IDs, and you can choose any one of those for each of your members of the exclusive group. When you choose one out of that group, all the others hide, and when you choose another, the others hide.

I’m getting back with you after having a chance to apply your suggestions. I’ve put all the items in the same color names/group. The effect is not much different.
When I had each item in it’s own color group, it would completely ignore the trigger to change. Now, with everything being in the same color group, it will change, but the images won’t reappear, it simply goes white and there is nothing visible on the screen. I’ve tried switching from “sticky” to “toggle” but it doesn’t change anything.
I hope you are able to make out what I’m explaining, because this one is really baffling me.
