[Pro] RPL javascript error

Hi -

I’m trying to convert my pages to RPL due to text overlap problems in the output. Some pages convert nicely but some say I have a javascript error in the RPL Action.

The error message says “containingDiv has no properties”. Increasing overlap tolerance has no effect, neither does grouping adjacent items.

Any thoughts on this??

Thanks, David

javascript error in the RPL Action.

Could it be that the action itself is bad? Maybe I’ll try reloading freeway from backup…

This is a hard one to pinpoint but check that you don’t have an items behind (higher up in the list of items in the Site panel) than any inflow items. Inflow items are items that are inserted into the text flow, when you select them they have a Float option in the Inspector palette. If you can’t find the problem items then send the file through to our support team using the following address and they’ll take a look as soon as possible:
support(a)softpress.com

Just to clarify, to make sure they aren’t behind these items, select them in the Site Panel and use the Send to Front menu option (or Command+).

Thanks, Joe -

The inflow item doesn’t seem to be the problem - I took it off the page completely and still got the same error message. This is a really simple page - not much on it - and all my pages are getting the same message…

I’ll give softpress support a try.
