When trying to master the Relative page Layout, I am having many serious setbacks. Images and texts are just flowing around on the pages, but oddly enough, there are some pages that behaves just normal…???
So, should I have some values on some pages and some others on the other pages? Or just one for the master page / the entire website…?
I would appriciate some real goof advice from you guys…, not just only references to earlier texts from this list…
HOW have you guys copes / solved this type of problems…?
HOW did you prevent this from happening on your websites?
Softpress have said that you cannot use RPL with Freeway 7. (At least, you cannot use it with the responsive features of FW7, which is pretty much the bulk of the difference between 6 and 7.)
As far as getting RPL to work with you layout, I believe there is a guide to its use in the documentation somewhere. As others have said – no overlapping of elements, care taken to align elements into columns and rows (visually) with a bit of white space between them. It’s quite a magical algorithm, but it is not all-seeing.

As waltd wrote: ”Softpress have said that you cannot use RPL with Freeway 7.” No one has communicated that to me b4! and walt d wrote his very important comment AFTER I wrote my asking f help.
But no; ”I believe there is a guide to its use in the documentation somewhere. As others have said” No such information I have seen nowhere. Thinly written info I have seen deals w. HOW it ought to function, not anything else.
I think that RPL is only for earlier versions of FW.
And no, I am not interested in inventing the wheel again.
Sorry if you got me wrong there!
