[Pro] save fw documents

Hi everybody!
I find some difficulties saving documents.
Here is an example:

  1. I open FW (an already existin project)
  2. I change something, for example the name of a page from intro.html to index.html
  3. I quit FW
  4. I look to the Site Folder and I find the old page (intro.html instead of index.html).

Could you explain me this, please?
Thanks a lot /
Andrea (Italy)

Did a message pop up like “overwrite existing file”?
If not, the file sunk into the depth of your hard disk …
You may find it command+spacebar → Spotlight

Nothing like that. The fact is that the problem doesn’t come out every time I save. In fact, I published several sites, but now… I tried looking for the file .html as you suggested (cmd+space), but my HD told me it does not exist…

I look to the Site Folder and I find the old page (intro.html instead of index.html).

A save is not enough to create the page within your site folder. All that does is save the changes in the .freeway file.

You have to do a Publish before the page is written to the site folder.
