[Pro] scriptyfader and firefox on mac

hi,

testing my last little website-job in common browsers, i recognized that everything is fine on all browsers on windows, but surprisingly not in firefox 17.0.1 on our macs (10.6.8). the scriptyfader slide show runs and after a while it becomes chaotic and some of pictures loose their timing and jump forwards and back, the background picture blinks through.
On my old powermac g5 with firefox 3.7. installed on, everything works fine.
is there a known bug concerning scriptyfader/firefox 17 on macs or was it my mistake? how can i fix that?

Firebug has shown an error for me - FF 17.01 and same OS 10.6.8

“Error: “throw $continue” is deprecated, use “return” instead”

No idea what it means though.
