Hello,
I have recently put up a small site (Backdraft Template) that is still work in progress really but there is a Form in the Contact page that uses the Send Form action.
It appears that every time i upload the site a new version of the .php file is created. The form appears to work fine, but why is this happening? and how do i stop the new version appearing?

Shortly after submitting this question to the forum, i had a vague recollection of this occurring before, but could not find it via the search on this forum.
The original Send Form action was assigned to the HTML item holding the Table which is the Form, i removed the Action from the HTML element and reinstalled it at a Page level.
I have done a few simple changes to other pages and uploaded a couple of times and it seems to be behaving itself now.

Yes - applying at page level rather than to an inline item seems to stop the generation of new versions at every publish.
It is a known ‘bug’ but I thought it had been squashed.
You can just delete every version of the FWSendForm php page in the Resources folder prior to a final publish and you will only be left with one. (Until next publish cycle)

What David said. This was a known bug in Freeway 6, but I thought it had been fixed in 7. I’d recommend getting in touch with Softpress regarding this.
