I have included the ‘Send Form’ action in to my site which is basic and works.
However in addition to the basic name, email address and subject which the action accommodates I now want to be able to capture site visitor comments.
Looking at he Send Form Action attributes it appears anything other than the basic information as mentioned above cannot be captured and relayed via the email.

Am I missing something here ?
Yep. Just add more input fields to the page and give them meaningful names (in the third panel of the Inspector). They’ll then be included in the resulting email that gets sent. The options in the Actions palette are the things that you as the page owner may want control over – the email address/es to send the email to (this should be obvious), the subject line of the resulting email (for filtering when received), the sender name (your company name or the name of the person filling out the form) and so on.
You can add text areas (for multiple lines of text), radio buttons (for single answers to multiple choice questions), checkboxes (for multiple answers to multiple choice questions), and menus (can be used as single or multiple choice). They can all be found in the Insert menu or by clicking and holding on the HTML item button in the toolbar.
