[Pro] Send form

Anyone have an issue with send forms? When my client gets an email sent through a form, they get an error when they trie to reply. “Not a valid email address”.
It seem to put two sets of quotes around the reply email address ““email@hidden””

Help if you can.

Nope - what email client is he using and have you a link to the form page so we can check its output.

I moved away from the Send Form and changed to PHP Feedback Form. The only problem is that Validate does not work in Safari.

Try force-republishing that page. You are missing a JavaScript file (for the show/hide menu bit) that establishes the function fwShowHideMenu() and that error is stopping other things from happening, it looks like. Here’s what I mean by force-republishing. Locate your Site Folder (use the Edit/Document Setup dialog to find it if you don’t remember where on your Mac the site is generated before upload). In the Finder, open that folder, delete all contents, and empty the Trash. Back in Freeway, publish the site. This has the effect of completely regenerating all contents of the site, especially those that are generated by Actions (like the culprit here). Now upload again. Everything should upload, so if you have movies or other heavy media, you will need to be patient at this point. Now test your site again and see if it works.

Are there any restriction with the form element id’s?
Example: “Email” should be “email”

With the PHP Feedback form there is a naming convention ie email and name - see the section on Special Names at http://www.freewayactions.com/product.php?id=019
