[Pro] Sequence Timer / Target Layer disappears with webyep

Hi there,

I have just converted an html page to a php page. The original html page enabled images to fade in & out using Sequence timer and Target Layer actions and all was working fine as an html page. When I converted the page to php and uploaded the new page to the server the images disappeared from the page in the browser. Only the black background is visible where the photos should be. Not sure how to make the images re-appear!

Have tried ‘Publishing Everything!’

Thanks for your help

Mog

Oh! The page I am working on is Furlined | Home. The index page is a holding page at the moment.

You have jQuery (from WebYep gallery) and Prototype (from the Sequence Timer) in the same page, and that’s usually a recipe for disaster. Your page has two JavaScript errors, both (I am guessing) related to the $() function being redefined by jQuery behind Prototype’s back.

Hi Walter,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I don’t have a gallery set up on the home page, just the gallery page so I’m not sure why the code is showing up on the home page.

Is there any way to resolve this through Freeway?

Thanks

Hi mog you need to swop the fancy box (jQuery) plugin in the opt folder for the lightbox (Prototype) plugin Webyep will accept either jQuery or Prototype frame works. As well as that if you are adding Freeways own built in effects then you will also need to suppress webyeps own Prototype and scriptaculous links you should only have one set of javascript refernces within the page. What I will do is send you the latest action that creates a webyep config file. One of the controls within this new action is the ability to stop webyep wriring and inturn using its own Prototype and Scriptaculous references.

Hi Max,

I was originally using Lightbox but having trouble getting it to work for this site even though I seemed to be doing everything the correct way so I decided to use FancyBox instead and that seemed to work fine. I couldn’t access this url:

http://www.furlined.co.uk/webyep-system/program/opt/lightbox/js/lightbox.js

Which should show me the code for the js file but instead, a ‘Forbidden 403’ message popped up instead. (However you won’t be able to access this now as I’ve removed Lightbox from the opt folder)

Thanks it would be great to have the latest action to suppress the protaculus and scriptaculous links.

Best wishes

Mog
